COMMAND AND CONTROL DISCOVERY PROJECT
BUSINESS RESEARCH | DISCOVERY | JOHNSON CONTROLS
This research initiative explored how facility operators interact with command-and-control (C&C) functions across different building management platforms. We aimed to understand current workflows, pain points, and opportunities for product improvements—focusing on bulk commands, manual operations, failure scenarios, permission structures, and automated scheduling.
Furthermore, we refined the original 45-slide report down to 30 concise slides, ensuring that only the essential information was retained while protecting participants’ identities, images, and quotes. Certain design elements have been limited or blurred to safeguard intellectual property and maintain information sensitivity.
